Our Teachers

胡沙沙
Shasha Hu

 

胡老师毕业于华北水利水电大学。2019年赴美国前，她曾在国内小学担任语文和数学教师，积累了扎实的一线教学经验。随后，她在教育培训机构担任课程顾问及小学辅导教师，专注于课程规划与学生学习指导。2016年，她创办中小学培训机构并担任校长，负责招生宣传、课程规划、教学管理及教师协调等工作，同时担任小学全科辅导、一对一英语及暑期语文教师，积累了丰富的教学与教育管理经验。2024年起，胡老师担任雅典中文学校一年级中文教师，负责中文课程教学，并组织丰富有趣的课堂活动，激发学生学习中文的兴趣，提升学生的听、说、读、写能力。凭借认真负责的教学态度和出色的教学表现，她荣获雅典中文学校2025–2026学年度“优秀教师”称号。
胡老师性格开朗，普通话标准，热爱教育事业，拥有丰富的教学经验，具备良好的表达、沟通和组织能力，亲和力强，擅长与孩子互动。她坚持以学生为中心，注重培养学生的学习兴趣和自信心，致力于营造积极、愉快、高效的学习环境。

 

Ms. Hu graduated from North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power. Before moving to the United States in 2019, she taught Chinese Language Arts and Mathematics at an elementary school in China, gaining solid classroom teaching experience. She later worked as a curriculum consultant and elementary academic tutor at an educational training institution, focusing on curriculum planning and individualized learning support.

In 2016, Ms. Hu founded a K–12 tutoring center and served as its principal, overseeing student recruitment and outreach, curriculum planning, instructional management, and teacher coordination. She also provided academic support for elementary students, taught one-on-one English, and taught summer Chinese enrichment courses, gaining extensive experience in both teaching and educational management.

Since 2024, Ms. Hu has served as a first-grade Chinese teacher at Athens Chinese School. She designs engaging and interactive classroom activities that inspire students’ interest in learning Chinese and help develop their listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In recognition of her dedication and excellent teaching, she received the Outstanding Teacher Award for the 2025–2026 school year from Athens Chinese School.

Ms. Hu is known for her warm and outgoing personality, standard Mandarin pronunciation, and strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Passionate about education, she takes a student-centered approach and places great emphasis on fostering students’ interest in learning and building their confidence. She strives to create a positive, enjoyable, and effective learning environment.

       

刘睿婷
Ruiting Liu

 

刘老师本科毕业于华北电力大学，主修翻译。随后，她在华盛顿大学获得教育学硕士学位，专攻课程与教学，并即将到佐治亚大学攻读教育学Ph.D。刘老师在多个教育机构积累了丰富的教学经验，包括在西雅图的Young Child Academy担任主班老师，领导18名学前班学生的日常教育活动，并设计和实施符合州早期学习标准的适龄课程。 

在工作期间，刘老师展示了出色的组织和沟通能力，能够高效管理多项任务并有效回应学生需求。在亚太语言学校，她教授中文文化和文学，开发并实施满足多样化学习者需求的课程计划，并进行定性和定量分析，以改进教学策略。 

刘老师热爱教育事业，拥有丰富的教学经验和出色的研究能力，致力于帮助学生在多语言和多文化背景下实现全面发展。

 

 

Ms. Liu graduated from North China Electric Power University with a Bachelor of Arts in Translation. She then earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington and is set to pursue a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Georgia. Ms. Liu has amassed extensive teaching experience at various educational institutions, including serving as a Lead Teacher at Young Child Academy in Seattle. There, she spearheaded daily educational activities for a classroom of 18 preschool students and designed and implemented age-appropriate curricula that aligned with state early learning standards. 

Throughout her career, Ms. Liu has demonstrated excellent organizational and communication skills, effectively managing multiple tasks and responding to student needs. At Asia Pacific Language School, she taught Chinese culture and literature, developed and implemented lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners, and conducted both qualitative and quantitative analyses to improve teaching strategies. 

Ms. Liu is passionate about education, with a wealth of teaching experience and outstanding research capabilities. She is dedicated to helping students thrive in multilingual and multicultural environments. 

王芮
Rui Wang

 

年仅四岁时，她便开始就读雅典中文学校，从一年级一直学习到学校的十二年级课程，并最终完成全部课程，顺利毕业。如今，她非常期待重返这所学校——这一次，她将不再是一名学生，而是一名教师。Rui老师非常期待并决心为学生们带来与自己童年时期一样美好的学习体验、鼓励与支持，以及对中文语言和中华文化的热爱与联结。
目前，Rui老师正在攻读幼儿教育和特殊教育。她曾在 Piedmont Child Development Center 担任教师，在那里积累了宝贵的幼儿教育实践经验，并获得了与幼儿相处、支持他们成长与发展的实践经验。除了中文之外，她对语言学习也有着浓厚的热情。她曾在多个学生社团担任领导职务，其中包括担任法语俱乐部副主席。她对法语学习的投入和优秀表现也曾获得法语方面的杰出成就奖。除此之外，Rui老师还拥有丰富多元的工作经历，包括在 Oconee County Schools 完成为期一年的 IT 实习、英语辅导经验，以及零售销售工作。这些经历进一步提升了她的沟通能力、领导能力和解决问题的能力。
Rui老师尤其热衷于激励新一代的中文学习者。她希望通过自己的成长经历，让学生和家长看到，只要坚持不懈地学习和积累，中文不仅是一门语言，更可以成为一项受益终身的宝贵技能。

 At just four years old, she began attending Athens Chinese School as a first-grade student and continued all the way through the school’s 12th-grade curriculum, ultimately graduating from the program. Now, she is excited to return to the school—not as a student, but as a teacher. Ms. Rui is incredibly excited and determined to give her students the same wonderful experience, encouragement, and connection to the Chinese language and culture that she received throughout her childhood. 
Ms. Rui is currently pursuing bachelor’s degrees in both Early Childhood Education and Special Education. She began her teaching career working as a teacher at Piedmont Child Development Center, where she gained valuable hands-on experience working with young children and supporting their growth and development. Her passion for languages extends beyond Chinese. She has held multiple leadership roles in clubs, one of which was serving as Vice President in the French Club. Her dedication to French was recognized with an award for outstanding achievement in the language. Ms. Rui also brings diverse professional experience, including a year-long IT internship with Oconee County Schools, experience tutoring English, and experience as a sales associate. These opportunities have strengthened her communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. 
Ms. Rui is especially passionate about inspiring the next generation of Chinese learners. She hopes her own journey shows students and families that with dedication and continued learning, Chinese can become a valuable lifelong skill. 

     

王显芬
Xianfen Wang

 

王老师，本科毕业于北京化工大学，研究生是上海大学和中科院联合培养毕业。她在校期间发表一篇学术论文，并多次取得奖学金等其他荣誉称号。王老师来美国后，乐于接触丰富多元的各国文化，并以开放的心态传输中文文化；她以一颗热忱的心投身于汉语教学行业，考取了国际中文汉语教学证书。王老师在爱荷华州居住期间受邀在非营利性机构给孩子教授中文语言与文化课程。她也曾为学龄儿童提供一对一中文课程。并在雅典中文学校任教一年，教学成果深受学生喜爱。王老师性格乐观开朗，乐于与人沟通。她非常荣幸成为雅典中文学校的一名中文教师，希望在此期间不断进步，完成教学任务的同时可以与大家留下一份美好的时光。在漫漫岁月里，即便不能惊艳时光，也愿轻快明朗。

 Ms. Wang earned her bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Chemical Technology and completed her graduate studies through a joint program between Shanghai University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences. During her time at university, she published an academic paper and received multiple scholarships and other honors.
Since coming to the United States，Ms. Wang has embraced the rich diversity of global cultures and has been dedicated to sharing Chinese culture with an open heart. With great enthusiasm, she has devoted herself to the field of Chinese language education and has obtained an International Certificate for Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language.
While living in Iowa, she was invited to teach Chinese language and culture courses to children at a nonprofit organization. She also provided one-on-one Chinese lessons for school-age children and taught second grade at Athens Chinese School for one year, where her teaching was well-received and loved by her students.
Ms. Wang is optimistic, cheerful, and enjoys communicating with others. She is honored to be a Chinese teacher at Athens Chinese School and looks forward to growing continuously during her time here. She hopes to not only fulfill her teaching duties but also create lasting and joyful memories with everyone.
As time flows on, even if she cannot dazzle the years, she wishes to remain light-hearted and bright.
