胡沙沙
Shasha Hu

 

胡老师本科毕业于华北水利水电大学。2014年至2016年，胡老师在河南省通许县前七部小学担任二年级班主任、数学老师及四年级语文老师。2016年，她在陕西省杨凌弗斯特教育机构担任课程顾问及小学1-5年级作业辅导老师。同年，她创办了创优辅导中心，负责宣传招生和课程计划安排，并担任小学1-5年级的语文和数学课程辅导老师。胡老师性格开朗，普通话标准，热爱教育事业，拥有丰富的小学语文和数学授课经验，具备优秀的表达、沟通和组织能力，并且亲和力强，擅长与孩子互动。

 

Ms. Hu graduated from North China University of Water Resources and Electric Power with a bachelor's degree. From 2014 to 2016, Shasha worked as homeroom teacher and math teacher for a second grade class, and Chinese teacher for fourth grade at Qianqibu School in Tongxu County, Henan Province. In 2016, she worked as a course advisor and homework tutor for grades 1-5 at Forster Education Institute in Yangling, Shaanxi Province. That same year, she founded Create Excellence Tutoring Center, where she was responsible for marketing, enrollment, course planning, and tutoring students in Chinese and Math for grades 1-5. She is cheerful, speaks standard Mandarin, and is passionate about education. Ms. Hu has extensive experience teaching primary school Chinese and Math. With excellent skills in communication, organization, and expression, she is highly approachable and excels at interacting with children.

       

蒋晓薇
Xiaowei Jiang

 

蒋老师是一名拥有教育学博士学位的青年学者，现任成都大学副教授，并同时担任UGA的博士后研究员。她在高等教育领域深耕多年，现将这份对教育的热爱和热忱投入到小学中文课程的教学之中。她善于运用科学的教育理念和丰富的教学经验，设计出既符合小学生认知特点又充满趣味性的课程内容，旨在激发孩子们对中文学习的兴趣，培养他们的语言能力和文化素养。她深信，语言是文化的载体，中文不仅仅是交流的工具，更是连接中华悠久历史与灿烂文化的桥梁。因此，在教学过程中，她不仅注重语言知识的传授，更注重通过诗词歌赋、传统节日、历史故事等多种形式，向孩子们展示中华文化的独特魅力和深厚底蕴，引导他们感受中华文化的博大精深，培养他们的文化自豪感和认同感，为孩子打开一扇通往中华文化的大门，引领他们在中文的世界里自由翱翔，共同书写一段段美好的学习篇章。

 

Dr. Jiang is a young scholar with a Ph.D. in Education, currently serving as an associate professor at Chengdu University and a postdoctoral researcher at UGA. With many years of experience in higher education, she has now channeled her passion and enthusiasm into teaching elementary Chinese courses. Dr. Jiang excels at using scientific educational concepts and her rich teaching experience to design course content that is both suitable for the cognitive characteristics of elementary students and engaging. Her goal is to spark children's interest in learning Chinese and develop their language skills and cultural literacy. She firmly believes that language is a carrier of culture, and that Chinese is not only a tool for communication but also a bridge connecting the long-standing history and splendid culture of China. Therefore, in her teaching, she emphasizes not only the transmission of language knowledge but also the unique charm and profound heritage of Chinese culture through various forms such as poetry, traditional festivals, and historical stories. Dr. Jiang guides children to appreciate the vastness and depth of Chinese culture, fostering a sense of cultural pride and identity. She opens a door for children to explore Chinese culture, leading them to soar freely in the world of Chinese language and co-write beautiful chapters of learning.

       

刘睿婷
Ruiting Liu

 

刘老师本科毕业于华北电力大学，主修翻译。随后，她在华盛顿大学获得教育学硕士学位，专攻课程与教学，并即将到佐治亚大学攻读教育学Ph.D。刘老师在多个教育机构积累了丰富的教学经验，包括在西雅图的Young Child Academy担任主班老师，领导18名学前班学生的日常教育活动，并设计和实施符合州早期学习标准的适龄课程。在工作期间，刘老师展示了出色的组织和沟通能力，能够高效管理多项任务并有效回应学生需求。在亚太语言学校，她教授中文文化和文学，开发并实施满足多样化学习者需求的课程计划，并进行定性和定量分析，以改进教学策略。

 

Ms. Liu graduated from North China Electric Power University with a Bachelor of Arts in Translation. She then earned a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Washington and is set to pursue a Ph.D. in Education at the University of Georgia. Ms. Liu has amassed extensive teaching experience at various educational institutions, including serving as a Lead Teacher at Young Child Academy in Seattle. There, she spearheaded daily educational activities for a classroom of 18 preschool students and designed and implemented age-appropriate curricula that aligned with state early learning standards. Throughout her career, Ms. Liu has demonstrated excellent organizational and communication skills, effectively managing multiple tasks and responding to student needs. At Asia Pacific Language School, she taught Chinese culture and literature, developed and implemented lesson plans to meet the needs of diverse learners, and conducted both qualitative and quantitative analyses to improve teaching strategies. Ms. Liu is passionate about education, with a wealth of teaching experience and outstanding research capabilities. She is dedicated to helping students thrive in multilingual and multicultural environments.

 

金丹
Dan Jin

 

金老师是在UGA教育学院就读的第四年博士生。 她主要的研究领域是多语言学习者语言和科学学科教育。一直以来，她致力于帮助说多国语言和拥有多文化背景的学生们学习英语和各类学科语言。 此外，她在中文学校教了四年中文并且积累了丰富的教学经验，能够帮助不同精通程度的中文学习者们学习中文。

Ms. Jin is a fourth- year Ph.D. candidate at the Department of Language and Literacy Education. Her main area of expertise involves multilingual learners’ language and science education. She’s been working for kids who speak multilingual languages and have various culture backgrounds and helping them develop knowledge in both language proficiency in communication and in disciplinary learning. Other than that, she’s been teaching Chinese in Athens Chinese school for four years and has developed rich experience of teaching beginners and advanced Chinese language learners.

       

 

邱世心
Shixin Qiu

 

邱老师是一位心理学专业的大四学生。她在Tate学生中心信息台工作期间，积累了丰富的学生服务和管理经验。作为Dawg Camp辅导员，她积极参与新生的引导和支持工作，帮助他们更好地适应大学生活。此外，她还担任过国际学生迎新会的领袖，致力于为国际学生提供帮助和指导，促进跨文化交流。在MindConnections心理诊所实习期间，邱老师深入了解了心理咨询和治疗的实际操作，并积累了宝贵的实习经验。她对心理学的热情和专业知识得到了导师和同事们的一致认可。邱老师热爱看各类电视节目，特别是心理学相关的剧集。闲暇时，她喜欢和她的两只猫相伴，共享宁静的时光。

Ms. Qiu is a senior majoring in psychology. During her time working at the Tate Student Center info desk, she gained extensive experience in student services and management. As a Dawg Camp counselor, she actively participated in guiding and supporting new students, helping them better adapt to university life. Additionally, she served as a leader for the international student orientation, dedicated to providing assistance and guidance to international students and promoting cross-cultural communication.
During her internship at MindConnections psychological clinic, Ms. Qiu gained in-depth knowledge of the practical aspects of psychological counseling and therapy, accumulating valuable hands-on experience. Her passion for psychology and her professional knowledge have been widely recognized by her mentors and colleagues. Ms. Qiu enjoys watching a variety of TV shows, especially those related to psychology. In her leisure time, she loves spending quiet moments with her two cats.

       

王显芬
Xianfen Wang

 

王老师，本科毕业于北京化工大学，研究生是上海大学和中科院联合培养毕业。她在校期间发表一篇学术论文，并多次取得奖学金等其他荣誉称号。王老师2021年来美国后，乐于接触丰富多元的各国文化，并以开放的心态传输中文文化；她以一颗热忱的心投身于汉语教学行业，考取了国际中文汉语教学证书。王老师在爱荷华州居住期间受邀在非营利性机构给孩子教授中文语言与文化课程。她也曾为学龄儿童提供一对一中文课程。王老师性格乐观开朗，乐于与人沟通。她非常荣幸成为雅典中文学校的一名中文教师，希望在此期间不断进步，完成教学任务的同时可以与大家留下一份美好的时光。在漫漫岁月里，即便不能惊艳时光，也愿轻快明朗。
 
Ms. Wang received her bachelor's degree from Beijing University of Chemistry and Technology and master’s through a co-cultivated program by Shanghai University and Chinese Academy of Sciences. During this time, she published one paper related to iron-nickel battery and received numerous scholarships and other honors. After coming to the US in 2021, she has enjoyed exposures to diverse and enriched cultures, and passionately devotes herself to the profession of Chinese teaching.
Ms. Wang holds an International Chinese Language Teacher Certification. She was invited to teach Chinese language and culture to children at a non-profit institute when she lived in Iowa. She also has experience providing private Chinese lessons to school aged children. As a Chinese teacher in Athens Chinese School, Ms. Wang loves to connect with her students and grow with them. She hopes that she can make every school year a memorable one.
